DF Sports in the Community

DF Sports Management Australia continues to support local charities, non profit organisations and other local community programs.

• We offer local charities the opportunity to raise much needed funds by donating Football Memorabilia which in turn is used in auctions or as raffle prizes.

• DF Sports also donate Football Memorabilia to local sporting clubs for them to raffle and raise funds towards their club’s running costs.

Macquarie Sports Program

DF Sports Management is pleased to announce that it was recently awarded the task of providing coaching clinics for the Macquarie Sports program in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

The "pilot" programs were conducted in June and July 2010 offering a 3 day - 9 hour - coaching clinic program for 150 underprivileged children from within the Logan City area. The clinic was held at Rochedale Rovers Football Club who kindly supported the community program and allowed DF Sports free use of their facilities.

DF Sports will be working closely with non for profit organisations such as PCYC in providing these free community program's through the generosity of the Macquarie Group Foundation.

In July 2010 we held a specialised clinic in Sydney for almost 450 children as part of the agreement with Macquarie Sports. The clinic was a huge success and we were pleased to have the likes of Spencer Prior, Alex Tobin, Paul Okon, Charlie de Sousa, Chichi Mendez, Milan Blagojevic, Craig Moore and Leena Khamis from the Matilda's as part of the 28 coaching staff.

Schools Program

In October 2010 DF Sports conducted a "pilot" school program at Calvary Christian College, in Carbrook.

Over the 6 week period, our coaches conducted not only a specialised lunchtime skills program but also coached in 84 Physical Education lessons working with age groups from Prep to Year 6. The PE lessons were football based for the entire 6 weeks and saw 400 boys and girls being introduced to the round ball game. The program was such a success that the school have already booked DF Sports for a 6 week program in 2011.

We would also like to say a special thank you to Brisbane Roar for providing all junior school children with a show bag each and for attending the school for a meet, greet and signing of autographs during the final week of the program.

School Holiday Coaching Clinics 2012

During the 2012 school holidays, DF Sports will once again offer quality but affordable coaching clinics commencing with the Easter School Holidays clinic. Our clinics include coaches who are not only highly qualified but also bring the experience of personnel who have played at the highest level in England and in Europe.

Trials and Training in Europe

2010 and 2011 were exciting years for DF Sports with no fewer than 14 players from across Australia attending English Premier League clubs and other quality academies in Europe for training, experience and trials.

We also offer players the opportunity to experience training at some of the best Academy's in the UK. However, we do reiterate to these players that there is no opportunity to join these clubs until they turn 18 due to FIFA Regulations (Article 19) relating to player movement of minor's.
